This ecovillage, founded in Luxembourg in 2015, is the first of its kind in the Greater Region and embodies the principles of transparency, social responsibility and sustainable living. By becoming a SIS, Benu Village is strengthening its commitment to having a positive societal and environmental impact through its actions.
Benu Village is a pioneer in the social-ecological circular economy, promoting renewal and rejuvenation. The name ‘Benu’, inspired by the ancient Egyptian phoenix bird and pronounced ‘to be new’, represents the company’s commitment to reuse, recycle and conserve resources.
At Benu Village you can enjoy locally sourced food, buy socially responsible clothing and take part in a range of other sustainable initiatives. This community is taking action to address crucial environmental and social issues while presenting practical and sustainable solutions.
